Basic Program. Ages 4 and up
Character, taught through kung fu.
Thirty minutes of traditional Shaolin training, with the same structure every class. Your child learns to listen, to try, and to keep trying.

01. Focus
Focus, practiced one form at a time.
Every class asks for full attention for short, clear stretches. Students learn to look, listen and then move, and the stretches grow longer as they are ready.
How your child will practice it:
- Eyes on the instructor before every drill
- Forms learned in small, exact pieces
- Stillness held in a horse stance

02. Confidence
Confidence that is earned, not handed out.
Confidence comes from doing something difficult and seeing the result. Each stripe marks real progress, so a student knows it was earned.
How your child will practice it:
- Speaking up with a clear, strong voice
- Performing a form in front of the class
- Belt stripes presented only when earned

03. Discipline
Discipline that carries home.
The same structure every class, and the same words at home through discipline sheets. Students learn that steady effort is what moves them forward.
How your child will practice it:
- A set routine from bow-in to bow-out
- Discipline sheets shared with parents
- Practice goals between classes

What your child practices
Character transformation is the work.
Discipline sheets
Sent home so you can see how your child is doing in class and at home, and so the same words are used in both places.
Belt stripes
Presented at the end of class to students who have earned them. They are not handed out.
Character development
A short lesson in every class. Respect, concentration and responsibility, practiced on the floor.
The 30 minute class
Thirty minutes. Every one of them planned.
Short enough for a four-year-old to stay with it. Long enough to learn something.
Block 1 of 4
